This topic is now closed. Now the time has come to adjust MSX Radio, which might take quite some time. We will let you know as soon as the songs are up. A week after that the first round of PSG-voting begins. The round will be closed when there are 2 contestants left.
Once the PSG poll is closed we will move on to the SCC poll. First, there will be a week to listen to the songs on MSX Radio, before the first round of voting begins. After that we will close the mega-polling in the forums with the MSX Music poll.
Finally, the 6 winners (2 PSG, 2 SCC, 2 MSX-Music) will battle on a thrilling frontpage poll!

That Deathwish 3 track is amazing. Too bad about the game itself.
Apart from this game, is it a coincidence most games listed are well above average? Or do we possibly forget about great songs in bad games? Interesting...

Addon: OmegaMSX just told that the MSX Radio needs STEREO mp3. So don't record in Mono |

Contacting Omega is nice, but I think it's a smart thing to keep a to-do list here as well.

Ofcourse you can record in mono, as long as you convert it to stereo afterwards, before encoding it to mp3.. |

If you don't push any key you get a demo about the first appearance of Snatchers
if you start the game you get a demo about lucifer alpha
and then there's the Gillian on the roof song, which is nominated as well.

the way it's written here, I'd say 'none '
I suggest to break the sd snatcher intros in 2 parts:
introdemo 1 (the stuff you get when you don't press space @ the konamilogo screen)
introdemo 2 (the stuff which starts with that chemical snow)
additionally, you can break introdemo 1 in 3 pieces..
so:
intro 1 - 1/3 : dramatic
intro 1 - 2/3: harmonica part
intro 1 - 3/3: credits/fast

btw.. about that msx radio, are all tunes played in a fixed order after eachother? In that case, ppl can record all of it (like an hour orso ?) and listen/judge offline. (guess we need a cuelist then)

I'm sending the Sa-Zi-Ri BGM right now. It *is* in mono, 160kbit, however reconverting to stereo for MSX-radio shouldn't be difficult (with dBpowerAMP it's done in a minute). 160kbit/channel is a lot, and as the bitrate has to be lowered aswell anyway I doubt reconverting will result in any noticeable quality loss.

Oh and btw.
The list I gave above was only about the PSG songs
The other lists will be processed after this one.

There are not that many msx.org visitors (who are gonna vote this poll) with non-flatfee connections i think
However, I was planning to make the poll playlist fixed and repeat ad nauseum for a day or so, it'll be about 40 songs (~ 80 minutes) long.
