Check it out: http://www.xgamestation.com

Sounds like fun
In a way it's very similar to our community, I mean if we want new games, we need to code them ourselves too

The games for this "machine" come on cartridge.
Wouldn't it be cool if the cartridge slot could hold MSX cartridges (Probably not )

Nice mockups ^^;
The actual prototypes don't look very impressive compared to for instance the ESE MSX2 prototypes. Aside from which CPU it uses, the specs are also VERY vague and contradicting.
It looks like a lot of hype, I wonder if anything will really come from it.

well, the idea is nice, isn't it?

I wonder how basic games compare to c++ games on that console..

If I understand correct, XGS basic is available on a cartridge, and you can code the basic-alike language when connecting some keyboard.

The C++ tools and other tools are delivered on CD-rom and you need to code those on a PC. Then you can save the programs on a cartridge (probably using USB).

I don't see a point in buying such a machine. You might as well tell everybody to buy an MSX

Computers with specs like 'Graphics architecture similar to Commodore 64, bla bla bla' don't generally generate warm feelings
The specs aren't very impressive. And I already have a programmable '80s gamecomputer: the msx2. I think something like a gameboy is more interesting. Or you must be more of a hardware freak... 8)

Browse the web for GamePark.
This thing is much like a GBA, and there even exists an MSX emulator for it
