i am writing a little windows .MUS player and i am trying to get the speed right for the Fac soundtracker files,

the speed in this file is defined as Number of waitstates. I just want to know how long a single step takes on each speed setting

Each step is an interrupt, 50 or 60Hz. So it's 20.00ms or 16.67ms.

but what if the speed is set to 6, should i wait 6 x 20ms ?

Do you also know the drum number assignments for the fac soundtracker?,

i nkow bass = 1 and snare =2 but what about 3 - 15.. or even more?...

3 is hihat, 4 is tomtom, 5 is cymbal. the rest are combinations.

do you know of a list containing all these combinations?

1 - Bassdrum
2 - Snaredrum
3 - No drum
4 - Tom
5 - Cymbal
6 - Hi-hat
7 = 1+2
8 = 1+4
9 = 1+5
10 = 1+6
11 = 2+4
12 = 2+5
13 = 2+6
14 = 4+5
15 = 4+6
