I can't seem to get runemaster 2 english to work properly. I tried it on the latest NLMSX and RuMsx. NLMSX just freezes when i press space to continue from the intro screen and wit RuMsx i don't have a cursor and i cannot see any dice. I also tried running the emulators with different settings, but so far nothing helps. Anyone got any suggestions?

It's a know bug in nlmsx, you can skip the intro by pressing the space bar twice.

it works!!! thnx sylvester! It almost brought a tear to my eye, playing my favorite msx game ever after propably 10-14 years!!!

hmm, the game still freezes after you've chosen your name and character, what to do about this? and RuMsx still doesn't display correctly.

It's not a problem in your emulator, it's a problem in the English version of Rune Master 2. The English version contains a couple of bugs and freezing is one of them, unfortunately.

yep, i'm using the latest versions.
Too bad it's a bug though, guess i have to dig up an msx2 somewhere, cause i really wanna play runemaster 2, well thnx anyway

I got it now: just run NLMsx in msx2japanese configuration.
that solves the problem.
