Hello,
I need some help with MSX Audio information
I have two units: one from Philips and one from Toshiba
They both play music in Unknown Reality
Does this mean they was both extended from 32kb to 256kb?
Or UR downsizes the samples to fit in standard 32kb ram?
If UR is not a very good test, what else could I use to determine if 256kb is present?
Thank you,
Adrian

Unknown Reality does use the full 256 KB Sample RAM of the MSX-AUDIO. They just don't play these big samples if there's too little Sample RAM.

IIRC, 32K sampleram gives you about 4 seconds of audio. So, if Unknown Reality plays for roughly half a minute without repeating, you probably have 256K |
