Hello to all,

I am interested in buying a MSX2+, that works correctly, if it can be PANASONIC.
If somebody has some and wants to sell it to it, that me send an email!

Thank you very much!

Better add some money and buy a Turbo-R computer. Faster in R800 mode, more RAM (256 or 512 KB), more firmware, PCM sound, etc. It is just like a super-enhanced A1WSX, even the case design is similar.

In my humble opinion, I prefer the A1WX, that has a cassette entry.

If you must have cassette I guess you can hook it up to the PCM input and use the DRAM mode to adapt the BIOS routines... But then I would gladly trade in a cassette port for an R800, which is why I did But yeah, follow pitpan's advice, by all means... A Turbo-R is really worth the extra few bucks... The differency is probably less than $100 if you look for a good deal... (Which would be around $200)

There is a tool coded by Martos that lets the Turbo-R load the .CAS images from HD or disk like if they were a real tape, and, of course, it is faster and more reliable.

Anyway, I miss so much that lovely beeep bop beeeeeeeep booooooop...

That's why I have changed my Turbo-R ST for a MSX2+ A1 WX. And it is a good change, trust me. I still owe a Turbo-R GT, just in case.

Moved to trading section. When offering or looking for Hard- and software it should be posted inhere, not in the Hardware section. No harm done though

Lol, I recommend you to get in touch with WiseDuck, since he found a fairly cheap anonimous seller. On the other side I can sell my WSX already upgraded to 512K for 180 euro. But I think you're better off finding a cheaper price

Good luck in your search!

I'll send the e-mail. The only defect is the loose rubber belt in floppy drive, but I can take a good one from my TurboR GT, so it will be perfect.

Do you want more pictures here in this forum?

BTW: Price is not that bad. I paid 125 euro for WSX to rklok, and delivery 30 euro. Then I did the memory upgrade, and it's normally cost you 55 euro for 512K. And then I'll add a new flat rubber belt for floppy, it's like another 5 euro for belt + 3 euro for shipping if you buy it from Bas.

Oh, and I am in Toronto, Canada, so it's ideal for South and North americas, but sucks if you're in Europe.

If you're in Europe, better contact rklok, he is very cool

PS: this computer is sensitive for high voltages. I.e. if you have 95-105 V, it's ok. If it goes over 105 (like 125V), transformator get's really hot. It is a common problem for electronics from Japan.

It's 100V. In US it's 120V. This puts too much preassure on japanese electronics
