I'd like to add a pole here (there's already a pole going on on what the hardes shooter is). But I was wondering: What is your favorite weapons in shooters you've encountered.
I myself am fan of the Bomb of Aleste 2 (weapon 6)

Napalm missile in Nemesis II. That's it. Much better than Saddam's ghost-bombs.

anyway, i like the bonb (no 6) in aleste 2. the red weapon (ninja things) aleste gaiden. and obviously napalm missile in nemesis 3! i also like the exclusive no 5 in zanac ex, or just plain no 7!
hmmm, the normal weapon in space manbow.
ah, there are at this entoxicated moment not many more fav weapons i can think of. but i believe we all pretty much like the same, since those we choise yield (IMO) the most points in being a succesful player. |

The laser in Zanac-Ex (weapon 5) - the most powerful weapon in the game, and unlimited.

ripple laser in Salamander .. usually I"m not a fan of ripple lasers.. but, well at least in level 1, they suit me very well ..

The ripple laser indeed is a nifty weapon along with the napalm bombs (both in them wellknown games) they are da bomb!

Nah, screw laser definately beats all guts , especially when you've got 4 options in Salamander |

Vector Laser from Nemesis 3 > all (or Uplaser from Nemesis 2 and 3)
And 2-way hawkwind missile is the best missile ever
And then there's that last weapon from Aleste 1 (a sort of whirlwind in front of your ship, that makes a lot of noise if you have a FM-PAC installed) when fully upgraded it was about 3 or 4 whirlwinds stacked on top of eachother, and they killed anything it touched.
