Is there any easy way to type your basic code on Windows PC, and then get it to run on a real MSX ?
Not long ago there was some news on MSX.org about an MSX Basic editor for Windows, but it only worked in Japanese or something like that.
Any news on that one ?
Thanks.

Yup, it's MSX VIEWer which runs fine on Non-Japanese windows, but the interface of the tool is in Japanese. But hey, as an MSX user you should be used to that |

You can use notepad.exe to create a test file with your BASIC listing
You must then rename the file as "test.bas" for example.
"test.bas" can be used on a MSX computer or emulator : it's a ASCII file.
To get a normal BASIC file, use save"test.bas" on the MSX !

Thank you
I'm finally going to check if some of the Zemmix models really had a built-in SCC chip. |
