A friend recently dug out his old MSX from the loft in full working condition, but unfortunatly the joysticks didn't survive. I'm trying to get hold of a couple of (ah, the joy's of eBay), any suggestions for joysticks that are MSX compatible? Apart fom the original Toshiba sticks, the only one I've found so far is the Quickshot QS-137F.
Cheers!

i got 2 QuickShot (ANALOG joystick from PC world), then i remove its cables and then i mount the MSX cables (the standard
ATARI / MSX cable can be found in electronic's store or from and old msx joystick without cable issues), problem solved.

At the moment I have QS-130F and Quickjoy SV-127 TopStar on my desk. You can also use any Atari, Amiga, C64 etc. joystick, but then you lack second trigger. They anyway lack only one wire, so modifying them to MSX joysticks should not be too hard even for hardware newbie.

WARNING: with adapting the AMIGA joystick to MSX.... IF you use the second trigger it will SHORT the +5v to ground..... (you can damage the PSU).

Try to find Arcade or Arcade Turbo joysticks. These are working on all systems and they are the best one.
Look for example on Ebay.
