A short while ago, someone dropped off an SVI 738 at our Amiga user group. However, this fine computer turned out to be quite dead. If turned on, the I/O and floppy LEDs will be constantly lit, while the screen remains black. The internal PSU seems to output the correct voltages.
I ask here if anyone knows if this is a common problem with a probable cure, before we go berserk on the thing with the soldering iron.
