BlueMSX experiences?

Since a few days I got this BlueMSX emulator installed. Version 1.5.0 that is. I was delighted by its stable speed in playing moonsound tunes, over openMSX. This is the reason I kinda got hooked on MBwave again.
Though, for some reason, my emulated MSX seems to crash quite often whilst editing some tunes. This is quite frustrating. It turned out that after a random amount of minutes, the MSX gets out of its crash and resumes its tasks.

I really find this disturbing.
Is there anyone out there who runs into some crashes once in a while or is it only me?

I will mail him, though I am curious if I'm the only one experiencing this in this matter... It might be my setup as well...

Know this, I am a dummy on emulationareas

I wouldn't edit MBwave music in Blue .. chances are that on the real thing it sounds quite different .. Coral2 doesn't sound right in Blue ..!

I found some volumedifferences already, compared to the real thing. Though, I have to deal with emulators, cuz I lack a moonsound.

Blue's not always as stable on every computer. I've unfortunately had issues with Blue too... this includes crashed too From what I understood from Daniel this is a DirectX issue he's working on. This will hopefully also address performance as Blue won't run at a very high speed on those computers either.

nope really, my musmod/fmpac/scc are just laying around here.. I play msx games in an emu, and for the rest it's either mbfm or mbwave that's the only thing why I switch-on my msx.. I tend to use mbwave tho, since mbfm is quite unstable..

ps. 1.44 ?

I used BlueMSX past weekend and it froze a couple of times, indeed. Quite annoying, but I guess the developers are aware of this and will fix it some time soon.

Even though I'm not 100% sure I think your problem is caused by a bug in the moonsound emulation. I've noticed the same thing and it was also present in openMSX 0.3.4 which uses the same code base for the moonsound emulation (it may be fixed in 0.4.0 but I'm not sure).

Its been a while since I've seen this particular problem though so maybe your problem is something different.

Post a bug report on the bluemsx forum and give your PC configuration as well. That would be very helpful.
