This is getting fun!
Would you maybe sell an upgradable ethernet pcboard for 50Euro (eZ80, mapper etc can be added later - or diy?)

Anyway even if OsoNet is first and more gets sold, the need for slotexpanders will become very big! I for one will need one. No use having Ethernet online, but no place to go with the data, or no sound playing multi games etc. . .

Now we need cheap slot expanders . . . produced very fast . . . <just kidding!!>

I agree with Sander. Initially release an ehternet card without the bells 'n whistles (in order to keep it low-budget and have it shiped asap) Cuz all we want for now is SOME connections with the big world out there. hooking up my PC (and it's whole networking(san) stuff) would be cool.. instantly transfer data.

Then on the other hand; I get fet up with all these outboard expansion cards! I want something hanky panky fancy that is like all in one ("euh yeah; I'd like a diet coke, some frenchfries, an OPL4 (no sugar), a double ethernet with extra cheese and a large memory mapper to go with that" )

oh, euh. how much for that doggy?

I like the idea of those two cooperating. Sunrise could create a board as jpgobler said, and then both Sunrise and ObsoNET could make use of that board... Should make things a little easier to produce, and we'd have a Dutch distributor too!

Anyways, seems that this is turning out for the good . I'm excited about what it will bring us!

p.s. Ro, I don't understand a bit of what you're saying. OPL4 no sugar? Dogfood? -_-;;

Short term problem with the cooperation:
How far is the sunrise interface developed? If a combo pcb has to be made we might still have to wait . . .

Cooperation in terms of simmilar ports / compatible specs etc should be easy.

Funny JP. Look Konamiman already stated that they have 20 copies available for the Barcelona Fair. So, if more people want that you also have to wait till it can produced again. Further I am very curious where all those realteks would come from .I e.g. know where to find and how to get . Perhaps disassembled from PC? I really donot know. Also the software cannot be straight away right for the 100%. But it is very good addition. The work we have done meanwhile is to build the mapper part and the timings in connection to the ez80.
We can say this for 75% done.
But I work that all out with Nestor and Daniel and Koen

No critcizm or pun intended. I honestly see the difficulty in producing a pcb that can be expanded later (or diy - ether + mapper). It means the final expanded product had to be fully dsigned before hand and some components just not fitted to make the 'cheaper' version.
