its made by my self
i also designed the picture beneath the plexiglass
i choose Salamander because im a big fan of it
i could make another one but its quiet expencive about €150 al in
an msx version would be cheaper because you only need 2 buttons and a joystick
this version i made for MAME (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator) to play my favourite Konamis from the arcades

Nice controller!
So you made your own for MAME? Did you know about the X-Arcade? I got one a few months ago. P1 stick is mapped to numerical keypad and that's CRAP for MAME. Good thing the adapters for consoles work. Anyone know where I can get a Dreamcast adapter? no-one in The Netherlands seems to sell these...
Keep up the good work!
If you DO make a MSX version (2 Player), please bring it to Bussum
P.S.: MSX Battle Opera is held during the marathon part.

when is bussum?
if i have the money its no problem
i can convert it in a few minutes by changing the cables in to 2 msx joystick cables.
ive used some old usb joypads for the controls on the pc
but ive hacked an old keyboard to make a interface for the inputs
the problem with this Ghosting to prevent this i used diodes

Here's the official site of Bussum 2k4:
www.tni.nl/products/bussum
It's being held on Saturday October 9 2004. The marathon will start after the fair and will continue until 10.00 a.m. Sunday October 10 2004.
Participants for MSX Battle Opera can register at my booth during the fair. MSX Battle Opera will start after the 'dinner' as soon as the equipment has been set up.
Good thing you managed to avoid the ghosting in your stick. The X-Arcade has a very 'wierd' default mapping which causes the ghosting (and therefore: crap controls in MAME/other emus). You can program different configurations but you need a real keyboard (and this doesn't seem to work on my notebook).
I will hook up my X-Arcade to a Desktop Brick someday and see if I can get the keys mapped so there's no ghosting.
I hope to see you (and your arcade stick) at Bussum!
