It's a same... msx.org has a lot of potential. Snout did fantastic job on LAMP coding side and paid for dns name and hosting... It could've been a true MSX Community center of the world, if not up to the silly censorship, discrimination and moderatorial abuse...

msxposse.com is a very modest site, just an instance of stock phpBB with site specific logo. But you know what? It works really great! With all the imperfections. I don't like the name too much, I probably would've come up with a more agreeable, but who cares? Discussions are constructive and people are friendly. To me, as a lonely MSX user in Canada, that is much more important then constant arrogant Dutch scene supremacy proclamations and dispise to the rest of the world (well with exception of M$ and Nishi rectal massage)

The pleasure is mine. In fact I only post now and then on MSX.org. Before all the TNI FUD started, I was a very happy user here, and was posting about 10-15 messages per day. But no more

when i saw "FREEDOM" at the topic of the forumpost (the first time), then i thought, oohh the same FREEDOM as here....... so what the big problem about freedom?

so then, continue reading...... and ohhhhhhhh more "propaganda" about msxposse in the wrong place!.

Dhau: seems to me there are many more people posting here than me and Guyver, and Bifi isn't even posting at all. So it must not be only TNI. I've been on this forum for quite some time and I found it to be the number one source of any MSX news and it has taken over almost all English ways of MSX communication (mainly international mailinglist and newsgroup)...

I would sincerly thank the MRC team for all their great work!! Please guys, don't let yourself get too tired because of all the people that are bashing.... I know how much work and money you are putting into all this... ALl this free time and devotion and then getting these really awful e-mails and forum posts... Unbelievable.

Honestly, I have never experienced any bans or removed posts myself. It's a pity that people sometimes stop thinking and start posting weird stuff... The fights are really reall REALLY bad for forums like this... It's not so strange that people get banned if they keep starting fights... THere is a way to handle this people: just have a normal discussion and stay polite. It's not that hard, you know... It really makes me sad if I see another rant going on here on MRC... It's so useless and indeed based on simple misunderstandings or exaggerated reactions... Just count to 10 first and think a bit before posting something... sigh...

Ah well. I don't mind that people are 'leaving' MRC forums. I just hope the fighting will get to a minimum... If you read these threads... really... it's too sad for words. PEACE people!!

(And no: I'm not saying I'm a saint myself and I'm of course not perfect, just like all human beings are not perfect. Also the MRC people are not perfect of course and they have every right to remove posts from their own web site. And yes, of course news and other stuff is filtered through them. But hey, that's what you know if you get here. It's not a public place, it's a private web site which tries to support the MSX communicty... So, if you can't live with it or the policies: no one said you had to stay with it, you're always free to go to another forum, use mailinglist or newsgroups, etc...)
