i saw also ide interface from IDE Produtos MSX Projetos ? is that also a good one. if i see the picture of the interface, does it also include a powerconnector for the HDD ??>> http://www.carchano.com.br/portal/msxprojetos.asp[/quote]
Doubtful... If you mean those 4 pins, they look more like a JTAG interface for upgrading the firmware or something...
Your MSX PSU probably can't provide the power needed to start a HD (it's about 20-30W), so you would need to upgrade it.

Sunrise website is http://www.msx.ch/sunformsx/
The price of the IDE interface is 47,65 euro, you wil need a extra powersupply for your hdd and CD-rom.
If you choose the CompactFlash card reader a 63.55 euro you dont need a powersupply, but you can't connect a cd-rom drive.
Also the problem with extra powersupply's that you have to switch on the powersupply before you turn on your computerotherwice there is a slight chanche your hdd will breack down or will produce errors.

I can only strongly recommend the CF-IDE. It has so many advantages over a regular IDE interface / drive combination...
No PSU needed, small, silent, portable, and you don't have to be afraid it will loose its data when you put down your bag a little too enthousiasticly.

Well, logic would dictate that shipping from Brazil to Argentina would be cheaper and faster... Ofcourse we're talking about Latin America, so I guess all logic goes out the window then
It still amazes me that my letters take 3 day to get from the Netherlands to Costa Rica, and then an additional 30 days to get from the main post office in Costa Rica to the addressee... ^_^ |

Hehehe.... Actually, I'm always one step ahead of them on that part... I print my envelopes with a big-ass font and cover them with transparant tape just in case it rains somewhere along the way... |
