Contains a big box (even a bit larger than Japanese plastic boxes), thick manual and two cartridges (Kanji + program carts) in their original holder. Overall condition is VERY good, only box has a minimum wear.

EC 700 is the Word Processor Unit
EC 701 is the Word Processor Cartridge
EC 702 is the Kanji ROM cartridge
according to the Konami Software List... can you confirm all those were sold in one package (I guess so).

It seems so, look at the styrofoam. There's definitely space for the 2 carts.

Yes, I have two sets (only reason to sell another one) and both sets are similar. All items fits to the box (tightly). And box mentions a complete package to be EC-700 in front and side. In side, EC-701 and EC-702 are mentioned to be parts of the package.

I believe that one reason to make this set so rare is the price Konami wanted from it. When normally most expensive games were 9800 Yens, this set did cost 34800 Yens.

There might be a logical reason for that. EC-700 is a more professional application, not a game. And for some strange reason those kind of applications are more expensive than games.

I can imagine Konami was great in making games, but I really doubt if there was anyone waiting for a wordprocessor from Konami in those days... I have never seen the product before, but I'm really curious what kind of program it is, whether the quality is good (for a Japanese word processor) or not.

But 300 euro is way too expensive anyway, so I guess I'll never find out, unless I find a copy that's much cheaper

Yeah, sure, but I believe that there will be better pictures (scans) later available from this set. And I am quite sure that there are scans somewhere in funet. I believe I made scans from another set already quite long time ago...
