| How to dump a rom to a disk?

Dear friends:
I have a dump of the ROM of Street Master, the bootleg version of Street Fighter made by Zemina in 1992.
I want to make a disk version without using loadrom or execrom. But I don't find any tutorial or document about this issue. As you know, near everyone of the roms have been dumped into disks with basic loaders included. For example, rom dumps of Konami Games are very popular.
If you know something about it, please, post it
Yours,

The trick is to replace the ROM mapper writes with writes to the RAM mapper. When a ROM mapper has 16K pages this is easier than if it has 8K pages.
In the latter case you will have to investigate which combinations are used and store all of them. Or use (but this is slower) a routine that LDIR's the 8K blocks. This can be acceptable when changing between levels, but if it happens during gameplay it can cause annoying slowdowns or even crashes.

Taito's 'The Fairyland Story'. Definately the best bubble-bobble like game ever (for MSX1)! And it's korean, too |

Yes, but the Fairyland Story was officially released by Taito in MSX Systems. The rom and disk images are available everywhere... I like it very, very much

Yes, it's very, very difficult!!
But the msx version is very, very near the arcade. Taito games in MSX were very good games! |
