Google leads always to surprises
I've found this site :
http://www.casia.nl/Tyzack/
If I look deeply at the manual here :
http://www.casia.nl/Tyzack/64m.htm
then it seems that this machine is a super-MSX2 with digitizing (like NMS8280 or HBF900P) , stereo samples and MIDI !!!
I didn't know that such thing was created !
Should it not be mentioned in the MSX Faq ? |

Hehehe, this is a home built thing. It's composed mostly of MSX computers. It has been discussed in some issue of MSX COmputer Magazine.
Funny to see that there is a web site of it now |

Btw: it's a transputer: at least 2 MSX machines coupled together, of which one is a 8280. THey also added some home made hardware like the stereo sampler.

But, this is indeed surprising. I have never heard of this MSX computer before. Does it really exist? Is there anybody who actually -has- one? Time for a thorough investigation!

snout: as I said, check your old MCM's! One of the last Wammes-MCMs covers it. There's only one of this machine. |

Jup, I can confirm the latter. It is a fan-made MSX, mainly made of MSX components. Iirc there are also other components included.

Incredible... You Dutch people didn't know about the Tyzack transputer? There was a whole article about it in one of the MCM's. It really rocks. MSX being a very 'solderable' system... A Sony MSX2 fully created on a single-sided PCB |

Funny how he turns up again... First he pops up in Unknown Reality where they stretch and squeeze him up and down... and even multiply
Now he's the subject of Tyzack... What's the next MSX project where he will turn up? |

BTW, this Tyzack contraption really does not qualify as a transputer system. It's like building a soapbox cart, painting it red and calling it an Formula 1 Ferrari...
Apart from that, it's a pretty "|< 3\x/|_" rig |
