Just rebrought a msx after a gap of 20 years and looking to build up my games collection but don't want to pay £10 a game(yes I am a tight arse but as I used to pay £2.50 not keen on £10!), so anyone got any good locations I can buy games from?

Thank you Argon, that's helpfull!!!

Here you go: {Mod: Linking to warez is forbidden, read it in our policies. Thank you!}

they all cost £ 0,= so your tight arse can be relaxed now...

And 'bout original games... Konami's are still expensive... for £ 2,50 you get a cartridge only game for example... no box and manual...

What you can do actually, is use Google to find some titles you might want to have. Due to our forum policy we cannot provide links to copyrighted software, so I think googling is the best option for you

[edit]: What you as well can do (if you're Dutch), is going to Marktplaats.nl and browse to the MSX section. As evulopah said, Konami games are sold starting at € 2,50. And keep an eye on the trading forum! Usually rklok posts a link to eBay there, where he sells his MSX stuff. You'll find everything there, even turboR computers!

mmh, bobby_dazzler is talking about £ and not about € so he will probably not be Dutch....

@bobby_dazzler: if you still want the link, mail me at evulopah@hotmail.com

Just wondering... You are not allowed to link to warez (quite logical), but how about linking to sites containing warez?
The reason why I am asking this is because there are quite some links to Funet on MSX, while there is quite a lot of "not so legal" software there.
Not that I really mind, but I was just wondering

Basically the MRC doesn't want to turn into a link-portal for warez. This is why we generally don't appreciate links to warez and whatnot. It isn't so much the fact that a particular site may or may not contain warez, but more the context in which a site it linked to. It wouldn't be a problem for instance to link to an interesting text on programming on funet. It would be a problem to link to a spacemanbow rom file.

Ofcourse the fact that people continue to ask questions about the subject and wish to push the grey line further towards the black area is only going to cause us to become stricter. I don't have to explain anyone here what MRC will and will not allow. You all know perfectly well what fits the bill and what does not. Ofcourse if you all insist on bringing this subject up all the time, eventually I guess we'd be forced to not allow any links at all...

@Sonic, thank you for clearing things up
@GuyveR800: I asked a normal civilised question. Too bad you are not able to react in a normal manner. What did I do this time?

GuyveR800 is not able to communicate in such a way He prefers to be rude, and then be very surprised people tend to react in a simmilar way to him
This is just a nice example. I only asked a normal question. One person here gave me the answer I was looking for. GuyveR800 just wanted to be rude again, without any cause...
