have some questions about midisequencer software from the MSX Yamaha CX5MII/128 and the midisoftware of MERIDIAN 3.0

What is more professional to edit midi equipment like synthesizers etc etc.
Meridian or Midisequencersoftware of yamaha?
if it possibel i would like to buy MSX Yamaha CX5MII/128 for our studio. or its better a msx2 system with musicmodule?

mmmm what about a MSX turbo-R A1GT? it has MIDI built in and even basic commands.
I have connect a Roland CM-64 to it and it awesome!
But you are able to connect many other MIDI equipment offcourse.

are you sure? I've seen quite a lot of threads you opened on which you announced you'd be interested in buying hardware that must've been quite expensive altogether as well. turboR prices have dropped to more than reasonable prices recently. Just check eBay or the MRC Trading forums regularly, I'd say

Hard to say, wich is better, they are so different. I think, that Yamaha software is more complete, but Meridian is easyer to use, but I must admit, that I don't have too much experience of neither of them.

BTW. Does Meridian support Yamaha SFG-05 MIDI already? I could not find list of supported hardware from Meridian www-site...

Meridian only supports the turboR MSX-MIDI and the Philips Muziekmodule MIDI. FAC MIDI interface support was removed because it had a lot of downsides. SFG-05 support might be implemented when MIchiel can get his hands on documentation and/or a SFG-05 cartridge

There's another (turboR only) MIDI production worth looking into: MuSIOS. Japanese and (slooooooow) speed are the downsides of this MIDI tool.

CQensr is not an option
