Anyone reading this from the UK - remember MSX Computing and MSX User magazines - Back in the Early days of MSX 1 machines - I had program published in one of them (can't remember which) - it was a 64 characters per line utility written in 100% z80 assembler - I was well proud when they published it - I would love to be able to see it once again after all these years - but have never been able to track it down.

Does anyone have a copy of the issue with my program in?

If you need more info on the program to locate which mag/issue then post here.

Thanks in advance.

Whooah - If you had the issue with my program in and could scan the whole article for me then you make an old man very happy - lol

20 years on and I'm trying to pick up where I left off back then - but it won't be easy - be I'm pretty sure it will be fun.

I'm really looking forward to reading the mag from front to back cover - 1987...seems like only yesterday...I shall disassemble my code and try and understand it once again...bet it just goes right over the top of my head...

I am in the same boat - I lost my portfolio of stuff in my travels, I reember What MSX and MSX Computing very well. I wrote extensively for Haymarket Publishing on both these titles, including the first reviews of MSX-DOS, an MSX2 machine and loads of Games reviews, and the Yamaha Synth. Anybody that can make can make copies available to me I would love to hear from them. or selected photocopies of articles.

In this period I also wrote MSX Programming for Pitmans publishing which turned up (I found out recently) in Moscow as a Russian translation!

I have never seen this, and have no copy of my book at present. Anybody know of one about?

BTW - I was the PR manager working on the PR launch and promotion of MSX in the UK, and had the weird experience of dealing with Kay Nishi of ASCII, and served with a marketing group as a representative for Microsoft UK alongside JVC, TOshiba etc.

Any body with any access to the above publications please let me know.
