If I don't know what Psy-O-Blade is, am I missing out on something?

Psy-O-Blade is some text adventure made by T&E Soft if I'm right. Never played it though.

Burai Last Volume.

I definitely would want to translate both Burai games as well, as they really have a great plot and actually are very nice RPG's. But as these games make use of kanji, it's hard to make a nice translation without having someone granting you the space in the game to be able to write a decent English translation.

It would be a loss if this game was translated badly due to lack of space or something.

What to think about translating "Starship rendevous"?

I hardly played Starship Rendezvous, is there much text in it?

I thought it was the kind of game that speaks for itself

What about Compile's GOLVELLIUS? I mean the MSX1 megaROM. An excellent game, far better that the Zelda series for the Nintendo system (NES).

The game is translated, there are maps with all the texts and comments already in english. All that has to be done is to "hack" the ROM and include some additional programming. Not difficult at all.

Hm, I think that I'm looking to much for Michelle.
And it's a longtime ago that I play this game.

After each "boss" you "defeat", she will burst into a pretty lengthy monologue, probably expaining which part of the starship you should go to find the next girl.

Also, there is some text in the introduction and in the enddemo.

Love the font of the Japanese characters in that game, by the way, with their "metallic" look.

Thanks, Rikusu. That are good news... But, of course, I would prefer a "free" translation in the form of a patch.

That's why we must make our own translation of Golvellius and not wait for the embedded and crypted translation of the Bazix MSX-PLAYer version.

Personnally, I won't buy the Bazix version .... We have so many free IPS patches for other games (including Aleste) ... So, why suddenly choose another option ?

To be complete and more positive :

- if the MSX-PLAYer should be released with new games, my opinion should be different.

- I'm not against the principe of a non-free IPS patch, but I can't accept a crypted translation, embedded in an 'uncomplete' (from my point of view) emulator

I don't have a problem with it being non "free" the real problem for me with a MSX-PLAY-er version is that you can only use it on that louzy emulator not on the real stuff.

yup, and you need to run that not-so-perfect emulator on an OS for which I do not want to fork out the price of several second hand real MSX machines.
