I was trying to clean up my HD, and I found that I had 2 English translations of this game.
After doing an hexdump+diff it turns out that these are not the same translations.
F.i. one of them contains a list of Japanese people who (I assume) worked on the game, while at the same sector on the other disk there are still some more regular texts.

Does anybody knows how many translations were released for this game?
And which one of those is worth keeping ? :-)

I know of only one translation, which was made by Oasis. But not all Oasis translations were of very good quality and in some cases improvements were made afterwards. Possibly one is an original Oasis translation and the other one an improved Oasis translation, but this is only a guess . A Dutch translation was made as well, by the way, but I'm sure you would have noticed if that was the case.

David, iirc the OASIS translation says ‘translated by OASIS’ in the game’s intro screen (below the presented by Falcom text). You could look for that, or do a sector search on the disk for the text ‘OASIS’...

I wonder... In any case, don’t throw either of them away, as I’ve never heard of a second translation and am curious as to how it differs in quality...
