oh alex, one thing you could xplain is when you get level-up and when you get an extra life.. I don't monitor the score when all that happens.. need to keep the yellow sucker busy

About the level up: it's pretty much after every 7 hits. The life up is every 15. 4075...incredible...What kind of computer do you have

I hit 4000 today.. but I think there's a serious bug in the game, at a certain moment the game was temporarily extremely fast. As fast as mr.Blob alternate hitting the left and right wall on the beat of the music! (I kid you not!). I saw my lives-count drop van 8 to 3 orso.. all within some 10 seconds orso... :S And all this happened in exactly this 4000-score play.. :S

nope.. the bug is random, I experienced it only twice now.. there's no telling yet about others having the same issue..
