When did the bug occur? Did you play the game multiple times in the same window? It could be I forgot to reset a variable somewhere (allthoug that's highly unlikely because you'd notice it on restarting.

Maybe it's just random. At top speed Mr.Blob does 15 pixels per frame. Left>right would then take him about half a second. (Crazy Little Dancer Dragon Water With Taste Of Spring! (where did that come from?!)

It's not just mr.blob. The speed of the falling shirtbag was also way faster. And it's only temporarily.. say: 6 lives ^_^ .. just the whole game including everything -except the music- was faster..

Has the bug that allows fake high scores been fixed? Otherwise the whole thing is a bit pointless. Unless you can see what scores were not actually played.

There was no bug that allowed fake high scores, there was just some wanker who found out how our (not too bright) encryption routine worked. We submit some extra data with the highscore though, which is a check on how valid those scores actually are. And although even that can be faked, I think this protection is already more than enough for a game on an MSX website about an annoying blob, eh?
