djh1697 sent this one in as a newspost, but I felt it's more of a forumpost:

I was looking on the Konami UK website earlier today, people are asked to nominate there favourite series of Konami games, and which one scored the most? only one of our favourite MSX games......
25.1 % Pro Evolution Soccer
63.0 % Metal Gear
5.6 % Silent Hill
5.0 % Yu-Gi-Oh!
1.4 % Dancing Stage
Three of Konami's top ten games are based on Metal Gear, even Gradius V gets a mention!
I missed Hideo Kojima in London earlier this month, what a good oppurtunity to ask him what we all want to know! (does he still use his MSX?!?!?)

With MRC being so big couldn't they actually try to ask Konami if they could get an interview with the man himself? I would like to ask him this question 'did you ever see the translation of metal gear solid snake for the MSX and if yes what did you think of it'

I think that's about the same as trying to get to interview Bill Gates about MicroSoft . Konami is, especially in Japan, a HUGE company. Hard to reach, especially by non-commercial fans.
But never say never, maybe such an opportunity will come some day. |
