Dante 2 games development??

Was wondering 'bout a few things:

1) Just checked Ramon Verlinden's website about Cipher to see if there's any news about this great game. Unfortunately Ramon latest news-post about this subject was posted 21-11-2004, the last time I spoke him was on the fair at Oss.

Does anybody know how far he is with this game at the moment??

2) I heard some rumours about more people who were trying to make games with Dante 2, what's true about this and (if true) what's their progress??

3) What about the publish - A - game - made - with - Dante2 issue?? Is there already a solution to make a 'standalone' game? (Games made with Dante 2 sofar need the original Dante 2 disk to run on a MSX computer)

1) Although the pace is on the low side at the moment, work is definitely still in progress. Jorito and I are trying to make some fine FM/SCC/PSG tunes for the game, but have not been making an amazing lot of progress since. As for me, I had extremely little spare time for quite a while, the near future seems quite ok though, so I hope to be working on things again soon!

2) I don't know about any other Dante2 projects currently under development. Which is a shame, as the results one can get with Dante2 are quite amazing.

3) I'm going to try and figure the legal part of all that out in the near future .

As Snout mentioned, the pace is indeed sloooow but definitely not at a halt. Although I could post some new screenshots, there really isn't a lot of news to mention. The biggest 'news' is indeed the fact that Snout and Jorito agreed to help me on the music part (woei!).
About a possible standalone version, I can say that I first concentrate on finishing the game. How it will be released, is for later concern.

Finally, here's another teaser photo (yes, that was faster than copying the diskimage to pc) of the improved titlescreen:

The character looks so "dutch". I mean, it reminds me from other MSX dutch productions. Same graphic designers perhaps?

I think the question is first of all whether or not it is possible to separate the game itself from Dante 2. Maybe someone with some reverse engineering experience could help out there. Apart from any legal questions, it'll probably look much better that way as well.
