Is there anyone who knows how to access the debug mode of Xak 1? It's clear that there is one, but I have no idea about how to access it. Anyone?

found the sector number/image offset... also found out in which file it's located... and it seems I found out what to do
BUT...
over here it crashes... :\
For all the people who do want to know (it only work with a joystick/-pad): - access the main menu
- go to the unnamed option
- press the trigger button and do the following sequence while keeping it pressed:
- up, up, down, down, right, left, right, left, other trigger
Release the trigger and the game will load... ehrm crash... |

Uhm, how do you go to the unnamed option? (assuming you mean the last line of the main menu that's empty). I can't go to that option with either version... |

You can enter the main menu by pressing both triggers simultaneously. Check this screenshot:

you can always try the original (japanese) version...
or apply the IPS patch for the english translation... it does only fix it on the disk images though. |
