You only have limited resources available which you often can use for only one purpose. If you work cleverly, the result will be a true work of art.

I like this metaphor, but I think many of you can cook some nice, clever or funny MSX metaphors up as well. So if you know a nice MSX (related) metaphor: Bring it on!

More than a bonsai, is more like a regular tree.

You can make it grown too tall as a sequoia or too small as a bonsai, in both ways your pride can be HUGE.

The idea with the metaphors for MSX is good, but to compare it with a bonsai, thats nasty!
Bonsais are plants which are hindered by humans to grow the way intended by nature, they are
raped plants. I don't like to see our system that way! And I hope, MSX will never be
hindered by humans to grow in any direction we like.

I agree, the Star Treck with Capitain Kirk was better, although not so perfect due to the technical possibilities in the past. But exactly thats the charm of Star Treck first generation!

By the way, I don't condsider Star Treck as real science fiction, its more moral fiction, the
fiction that moral behaviour finally will succeed.

In MAF, I once posted a text about raising the MSX tree! I like the sequoia!
