Ok, can anybody help me out here ?
Some years ago I bought this audio Cd named 'PSG Dreams 1, Konami Special MSX'
Unfortunately this CD is now unusable, it started out with noise in certain songs, garbled noise,then skipping of songs and now, the entire CD is useless (unless you want to use it as a place-mate for your drink of course  )
The e-mail address on the cover isn't valid anymore, heck the entire domain mentioned is non-existing!
Can somebody here provide me with mp3 or ogg-vorbis files of the tracks on this CD ?

There are a lot of DVD-rental-shops where you can get your old and scratched CDs a DVDs fixed up again, at least enough to make a decent backup out of it. Perhaps that's worth a shot on this one?

I know, but that is only valid in case of scratched CD's. They peel of a slice of the upper plastic layer and 'fill the holes/scratches' with liquid plastic to restore the optical density of the platter. My CD doesn't contain a single scratch :\ it probably was burned on a not-so-good medium, which can get bad over the years, just like lower quality paper turns yellow.

ah yes, the rotten CD-Recordables.. there's little that can be done about those... :/

I have the same problem, I wanted to re-encode the CD to mp3, but when the CDA->WAV thingy got to the last few tracks (Snatcher and SD Snatcher songs) it all went iffy. I will try again with a different CD player and ripping machine (CD/DVD-ROM drive) but from what I read in this topic it does not sound very promising...

... perhaps you can use one of those CD-Rippers with 'paranoid' settings and combine your recordings to make the stuff complete again? I have no clue who released this CD in the past... (who does?)

The package (CD, booklet, inlay) does not provide much useful information, alas. It was available in the Netherlands from MSX-NBNO.
