What do you think about multidirectional scroller games in screen 5 & MSX2?

I'd really *not* want to see a screen 5 & MSX2 challenge I like the more generic themes better that doesn't specify how to implement it (all of the suggested once are good).
I think all MSX machines should be allowed and all screen modes and programming languages. Then it allows for more people to participate.

But of course it would be really cool if someone did a multidirectional scroller in their entry

Yup, we have thought of one and are waiting for a few external factors before we can start and announce the challenge. As telling those external factors would be quite a giveaway... just sit back, relax, and watch that MRC frontpage, bro!
