A new version of the JAVA MSX emulator JEmu2 was released recently, featuring the following changes and additions:
is this what you mean?> |

Most Java MSX emulators can't run all games due to lack of disk support, the correct mapper support or some other support. The most common Java MSX emulator hasn't even got any sound support. Check the Classicgaming Java MSX page for this Java MSX emulator in action. It's an MSX1 only emulator.
JEmu2 has specific things for the games it runs. You can't use it (that easily) to run other games. AFAIK this is also an MSX1 only emulator, but I guess it'll be developed to run as MSX2 as well in the future. |

Advanced emulators like openMSX and blueMSX could add in the future support for network-game between 2 running processus of the same emulator (or even between one blueMSX processus and one openMSX processus) WITH or WITHOUT Internet support ... So, many possibilities must be explored |

I'm not sure if that's what norakomi meant, although it would be cool to be able to do that one day... multiplayer games on MSX over the net.

BiFi, if that is not what norakomi meant, then what is?
Running an emulator in a web browser (can you say "lack of resources"?) is definitely not fun...

I've done it once with RedMSX... it's a trick, but it can be done =)
Btw: this works for almost everything, I've even used Word inside IE |

AuroraMSX: well, that JEmu 2.1 MSX emulator runs pretty well and is in Java, so you can also run it from within the web browser as a Java Applet It's loads better than the classicgaming.com JavaMSX emu. |
