Hi,
I never owned the Arabic MSX2 AX-360 which has a built-in Yamaha Painter, the best painting program I ever seen for MSX (it is almost the same as Paint for Mac as I remember vaguely).
Few days I got the ROM image of this program and now I want to run it on my MSX. I tried loadrom.com but it never works! Somebody can help with this?

You must call the program by using CALL PAINT or by pressing on the spacebar when the game is loading.

I knew that CALL PAINT is used to call the built-in Yamaha Painter on AX360. The fact is I don't have the machine, I now have MSX tR and I want to run painter.rom on it. I want to run it on my MSX tR.
Thanks

Running Painter with LoadROM ???
AFAIK Painter is a 64K program that should be placed from 0000 till 0xFFFF in specific slot.
Can LoadROM emulate that ?
I also heard somewhere about disk version of Painter, but I never saw it with my eyes. Does it exist at all?

2) Yamaha Painter can save to floppies, what's the problem ?

The internal program (ROM) of the Philips NMS1205 'Music Module' is 32Kb in size.

After some tests in blueMSX, I can confirm that LOADROM can't start the Painter rom : after loading in memory, the emulated MSX reboots ...
