This device is really cool and not too expensive (About 29$). It allows you to connect a standard 9-pin joystick to your PC or your Macintosh computer via USB, and use it to play your favourites emulators as the were meant to be played.
There are already some emulators that supports this device, such as Stella (an Atari 2600 Emulator), MAME and MacMAME. It would be very cool if BlueMSX, OpenMSX and fMSX could also be enabled to use this smart device.
Apparently, AtariAge isn't selling it anymore and Lik-sang have it just for backorders...
I want one of those! |

there is a cheaper way
it requers some handy skils
buy a cheap usb PC game pad witout the analog shit
then rewire the directions and the buttons to the corect pin on a sub d conector and a msx joystic to pc converter is born
maybe for 10 euro's?

Hmmm, I just got a device with 2 potmeters that I borrowed from a friend of my bro,
works like a charm, played space manbow with it on bluemsx.
He bought it second hand for 2 euros... and I played with an arcade joystick.
That's just the way emulators should be played |

Cesco : check the possibilities of the blueMSX Controllers / Keyboard editor, you can remap all the MSX keys and buttons to all PC keys and buttons of controllers detected by DirectX.

heh, works like a charm...
I borrowed it, and the guy said he could have bought 2, (2 euros each)
but didn't since he wouldn't take the risk of buying something he
wasn't certain of that it would work... and now he regrets it hahaha.
Indeed, it works perfectly
