Hello, maybe very off topic but i guess many msx fans have a ps2 and the game gradius V so i got to ask this:
(first of all, i have taken this question to many forums but no answer yet)
I have bought this game new in blister (ebay) and when i played it, it always stops at level 2 stage 6 after killing the endboss, my only options are restarting from a previous stage of exit the game and restart from the beginning. there should be 7 levels...and its not a demo disc or so.

Please help me if you know the answer !

2 Things I can think off.

1 Your PS2 has problems with cd (blue disc's !) based games.

2 It's the media.

Now to sort this one out try to play game on different PS2 or if the problem doesn't exist with other cd (blue disc's) based games then I think it's clear that it's the media.

If it's the media then you should be able to get it replaced through Konami I think.


Incase the PS2 is the problem you could try the following.

1 Change PS2 stand (If it's vertical put it horizontal and the other way arround. I know this sounds weird but it has worked for some people.)
2 Use cd/dvd cleaning disc.
3 Recalibrate laser.

i cleaned the lens and now i could play to level 4-2 then i happend again...i gonna have to clean the lens often to play this out i guess, thanks for the reaction btw
