I'm pretty sure that Konami designed all their games to be played as you have them: shrinkwrapped

AFAIK, games were designed to be played, not to be stored. But if they make you happy like this, please go on.

Well metal gear 2 solid snake is worth that much only if you are a hardcore collector.Reason?Language.While i was almost ready to go and pay over 200 euros in ebay to get a copy,i said to myself "ok you will get the box, inlay manual, cartridge and all original material" but it will be in japanese, and you can't really enjoy it.

Now if there was an official translated metal gear 2 back in 1990 i would gladly pay the sum to get it.

UPDATE:A friend of mine asked me "how did konami design those games?(he spoke of metal gear 1 and 2 actually" in the sense, what compilers or tools they used to design sprites, animations, and compile the sources?Does anyone know?Do you think that there could still exist some original asm listing of these games made by the original developers?(Crazy questions after a crazy party talking about computers, retro history about computers and msx2

Of course that the source code exists. Remember the MSX version included within the Playstation game?

I'm sure I've seen a tutorial here online.
