Hi there, I'm wondering where I can find the screen codes (escape sequences?) for the msx terminal. I'm only asking becuase I want to customize Turbo Pascal. It's not the MSX pascal I'm working with... it's the CP/M version of 3.0.

Oh and I finally have a full distro of DevPac thanks to one of the downloads on Hans Otten's site.

I'm very interested in MSX programming. It's to bad this machine never had the exposure in north america.

Thanks...

You might want to try Turbo Pascal 3.3f. AFAIK you can download it somewhere, maybe even here. You need a separate editor for it though. There's also a cross compiler for DOS. Maybe you can use dosbox to run it.

Yeah... I see a lot of potential for me to play around with C on Uzix... Not so much in the kernel development, but rather application dev'ing... I'd like to throw together a UzixWorks app suite paying homage to the old AppleWorks wp/ss/db app from the 80s. However, I'm just learning the system. Assembler & C isn't the problem, it's getting to know the MSX. I've downloaded & printed some really excellent docs and web pages. I'm fairly confident that due to my schedule, that I could have a beta for people to test sometime in the new year...

The MSX uses VT-52 terminal codes in both MSX-DOS and MSX-BASIC. The list here applies mostly to the MSX as well; just skip/forget about all the control codes that do colorizing and inverse video...
