Heya MSX fans, I'm want to expand the MSX game endings section at the VGMuseum (http://www.vgmuseum.com/end/msx) but I don't really know any MSX fans and my MSX knowledge is basically limited to Konami games, so I guess that there's no better place to ask than here

If you have any save states around or if you can beat MSX games easily, take a few screenshots of the last boss, the complete ending and credits, send it over to VGM and I'll post them asap. Don't bother with games with Japanese text in the endings though, I don't take those yet.

MSX has a lot of great games (Konami ones at least) and I've always wanted to get a bunch of MSX endings myself, but that BlueMSX emulator runs way too slow in my computer and the other emulators usually conflict with my controller, so I just gave up on that project.

So, asking for savestates won't do much harm. Tho I'm not entirely sure about that, not so much for the concept of the savestate, but more for the fact that the last time I had a look on BlueMSX'es savestates, each state had the actual game zipped in it..
Now, perhaps this info is way outdated (I really don't follow the emu-scene much), but perhaps it's interesting to have points of views from others on it as well..

Have a look here, the guy makes complete maps (and screenshots of demos) like a madman, he's unstopable..

You can also use the cheats in openMSX and blueMSX to get easily to the end and then make some screenshots. Not sure what you mean with 'conflicts with my controller' though... What kind of PC is it?

The Video Games Museum is a great site for old-skool gamers and MSX should have a much better representation on those pages. As soon as I have broadband again I’ll send you some MSX game-ending screenshots. For more support you could also contact the Generation MSX team

Where can I find those cheats you mentioned?
Maybe I could make a couple of endings with that, but still, any help is greatly appreciated.

Note: I cheated my my thru the whole game

You basically roam thru the dungeon looking to defeat three motherships, then the final boss will appear after room 5.
The Guardic is part of an ongoing series: Final Justice --> Guardic --> Blaster Burn.
In Blaster Burn you pilot the GuardicII which is a hybird of the Final Justice + Guardic ships.

Just make sure to let me know which images are for the last boss, get the full ending and make the snaps a bit smaller.
I think 256x240 res should be the correct one.

To get that resolution you can't take the snaps in BlueMSX while on 2x size or full screen, otherwise they come out huge.

If you want to send the whole guardic series then go ahead (asuming they have endings too).
I'll wait until I have 5 (or 3) endings to make the update.

The game had a sequel on Famicom/NES (Guardic Gaiden, aka. the Guardian Legend)
