Ok, here we go:
- Make <n reactions> clickable aswell when a person is not logged in, clicking on the topic does already work (there's no reason to make a difference, both point to the same page).
- Move up latest forum posts section on the frontpage. As the forum is getting more active recently there is more reason for this now than in the past... (Imho the recent headlines and reports are less important. The poll however is quite important aswell).
- Fix the forum 'forgetting' the new posts since my last visit. It currently seems to clear the new posts after I respond to one (not exactly sure about that).
- If someone clicks on a forum post in the 'latest forum posts', he is taken to the appropriate entry in the forum page. However if the forum is >1 page then it leads to the first page, and not, as it should, to the nth entry of the nth (last) page.
Quite minor fixes, quite annoying. Do something about it ye lazy-arses ;p.

Not everybody visits msx.org every day, so the recent reports/headlines are very important

Ok, that's true, but it is only a list of 5 items, people who are really only visiting msx.org incidentally have to look in the news archive... Anyways, that said, why must the headlines/reports be seperate? If you list the most recent 5 of both in 1 container it will save space. And personally, I don't see the difference between them (in the news archive they are listed together) aside from that the headlines are somewhat larger and therefore put in larger boxes. However that's a layout thing, and from a user-point of view it is not very logical.
Btw, why I think the recent headlines/reports should be placed on a lower spot (or at least the forum box right below it, while still keeping the poll visible) is that the forum gets very little attention the way it currently is. The headlines are already plainly visible on the frontpage, they draw attention and people can already see 6 'recent' headlines by default. If they want to read more they can visit the news archives or scroll down a little (which they will if they're reading the posts) until they reach a lower-placed recent headlines box. The forum however is 'hidden' between the links in the menu and in a top5 somewhere at the bottom. I think it deserves more attention, currently people who incidentally visit msx.org barely get invited to check out the forum. They will if they see an interesting topic .

The ideas behind the headlines/reports system have been explained before. And after getting a bit used to it, it does not feel odd to look not only at the top article on the msx.org frontpage, but also at the ones below it.
Important news should get more coverage.
What would be a good idea is to summarize the latest headlines and reports at the bottom of the page! I mean, directly under the actual latest headlines/reports. That also gives a natural top-to-bottom flow to them.

That's how it was done on the 'old' msx.org (and I think that was done rather nicely).

Now it points to the last page.

Nice
Btw, did you make some changes to the layout? Somehow I have the feeling things look a tiny bit different. Well, anyhow, nice popups when hovering over the gallery images ^_^ so that's what you were working on.

Nope, I have made no adjustments in the layout. However, Sander van Nunen improved some of the news topic icons a short while ago. The others will follow.

Hahaha, the popup comes from OverLIB! It's just some standard JScript that Snout implemented. a few days ago i found OverLIB and tried to implement it into my PHP scripts but failed...
Still, it's a nice thing!
