@Tokumaru: your sprites are pretty good, have you also other photogramh of arthur?
@SlotMan: i've grabbed the nes screenshot of ghouls and ghost, the main charater seems to be only 16 pixel wide. Do you know if this is wide on other photograms.?If are all 16 pixel wide i can grap those tiles almost directly...

Although the game concept isn't really innovative, this game surely does the trick. It should definitely be ported to MSX. We have too few shoot'em-ups |

this is one of the funniest things I have ever seen. I've been showing this to everyone the last few weeks. The karaoke part is just great!!! But EVERYTHING is funny in there.
Seriously though, a direct port of Goku Makaimura seems pretty much impossible (even if it is a severely watered down version), but I don't see why not take some elements of that game. |

I decided to register in those forums to finally see the pic. I liked it quite a bit! That background certainly holds the feel of the game! It is simple (in the sense that it uses few tiles), but very well done! I liked it much more than the C64 version.
As for the Sonic gfx, I plan to do more of them, at least enough to make the first level of a game, as soon as I'm free from college, which shouldn't be long.
Unfortunately I didn't go far with the GnG graphics, and what I have of Arthur are other versions of him (that in my opinion look worse than the one I posted), not other animation frames. I have him in underwear, though! =)

A Sonic game on msx sound interesting, as long it will be based on Sonic 2 on the megadrive (genesis). I can't say I get exited by all those MS and GG versions. I want huge fast scrolling levels with loops and screws!!! Cool bonus rounds and supersonic. No stupid casino levels or
carnaval or whatever other level that slows sonic down. Speed is what we need!!!
Anyway... seems to me a lot more fun than a GnG port.

Using Viejo_archivero's screenshot for GnG, here you have a little tech-demo showing a smooth horizontal scroll: http://www.robsy.net/gngtech.rom

Great work!
How much CPU time you use?

Don't know really :/
But I guess that it will not leave a lot of processing time. Again, it would be possible to make it 25/30 FPS instead of 30/60 FPS and use that extra time for game calculations.
Anyway, I'm not starting this one |

All the credits should go for the graphic artist! There is not much code behind the demo, it is all a matter of TMSwise pixel design.
Viejo rulez! |

In 50Hz, its using about 65% CPU every 8th frame and around 40% CPU the other seven frames
