It's high time for the "Most important MSX news of 2006" mega-poll! In this thread you can submit your nominees. Please obey the following rules:
  • You can only nominate events that were reported on MSX.org as news posts
  • You can only nominate news posts submitted between January 1st 2006 and December 31st, 2006. As the event took place in 2006, we will make one exception on this and automatically nominate it: MSXdev'06 closes with 19 entries'
  • You can nominate as many news posts as you like, but please try and be reasonable in your selection. Nominate what you genuinely think of as important MSX news.
  • Motivate why you nominated a certain news post

For instance:

Nominee: MSXdev'06 closes with 19 entries
Why: 19 brand new MSX1 games! Simply amazing!

I take it that the actual news is: introduction of new smileys ^^ (of which there was never a newspost, only a forumthread)

hmmm... what to do with it..

[edit] no, only real newsposts count. The only one could nominate is our dev entry.

We've been doing the poll for 3 years in a row now... each year I wonder if we should skip nomination stage and head over to voting right away... but in order to prevent "why did you not nominate..."-remarks I'd rather stick to a few days of nominating on the forum.
