Crazy prices! Try looking for the clones instead, much cheaper and does the same job... or try finding yourself a Panasonic FS-A1WX(S) MSX2+ they are easy to upgrade to more memory, have DD drive and have the FM-PAC internally.

I'm talking to someone about an "FM Stereo Pak" now. But even that one will go for >30 euro. Maybe the market for these things has changed recently.

Just to make things clear:

MSX Audio <> MSX Music (Y8950 <> YM2413 different I/O ports etc.)
MSX Music <> FM-PAC (FM-PAC can be used trough memory addresses and has SRAM. FM-PAC is MSX Music compatible)
FM Stereo PAK <> FM-PAC (FM Stereo PAK is just another MSX Music implementation)
Panasonic A1WX/A1WSX models (MSX2+) have build in MSX Music

bennyroger, how many MSX'es have you got by now? I remember I found one in Japan (on eBay), went to have a cup of tea just to find that you bought one in front of me when I got back to the computer This one seems to be exactly the same model if I remember it right. I have 3 MSX'es by now, but I think my wife will throw them away one day...

FM Stereo PAK is a load of crap too.. Stupid drums left , music right sound output

well, I guess... I only got it because of the FM sound, I DID eventually have a look at how that stereo thing was done but it isn't really interesting, IMO.

Later got an original fm-pac too, allthough without box/manual. Since I never use SRAM, and only have 1 MSX nowadays, well, you could say I have a spare... (stereo effect aside, both sound exactly the same, uh, as should be) =P
