Euh, that was something I didn't expected! (the "who's the evil" thing again!). Goin' back on topic, just do as you wish: I just wanted to share an opinion, but I guess I should have write some "imho"s here and there in my last post. Probably, it's my fault.

nah, that was more a generic snout speech, not really aimed at you (as in: 'bad bad viejo! tsk tsk') as you personally couldn't know all. Tho strictly speaking this is an issue between MRC and TNI, no need for Joe Public to stick their nose in someone else's business.. so take it easy, and RNFF a bit!

/me just went over to MSXposse and checked the forum there, and their latest news post. My conclusions:

* The person who made that BiFi-thingie, is acting like a 3-year-old.
* Guyver is acting like a real cry-baby with the TNI pressrelease and the PosseN newspost
* If these version of the software were submitted after 01-2006, it has every right to be and stay here
* If the software was submitted before these policies were in effect, it should be removed.
* If the current versions are other versions then originally submitted, they should be removed.

Personally, I would remove them anyway. Quite honestly: It's simply not worth the fuzz and attention.

My God... You guys are taking things way too serious... really!!. Especially GuyveR800... A press release? What the hell is he thinking? I hope he didn't forget to send a copy to RTL, ANP & Reuters! Pfffff.
And as for MRC: Even if you are in your right by the letter of the law, is it all really worth it? Just remove it and let it be. You now have the chance also creating reservations with other programmers: What will MRC do with my stuff in the future? Is that what you want?

Remove the software, close this thread and all go on...

stick their nose? not quite needed now is it? Neither MRC nor MSXPosse nor TNI's site are private password protected sites.. like in, you just run into the crap sometimes.

yep. You don't gain anything by leaving them here (well, possibly more crap), and , well.... it's not like MRC would seize to exist without a few utilities...

next step is a lawsuit? or maybe a small-scale war on the next MSX fair? ....if so, I've got to bring my camera and inform nationwide newspapers... only in the end it wouldn't get attention because it would be the most pathetic thing ever.

A policy is not a law.
But, in common practice, when you revise a policy you notify people of the changes and give them a certain amount of time to reread them and decide wether to agree or not.

Isn't "blah" some kind of Russian swear-word?
