To each his own and all that but why do you like MG better? MG:SS is almost in every aspect more advanced than MG IMHO.

Yeah, I agree with Randam. Only (major) thing better on MG than MG2:SS is gameplay. Dang, MG2:SS is slow :-\

I would lie if I didn't agree that SS is way more advanced.
The reason I like MG better is indeed the faster gameplay.
I also dig the music more, though it's only like 4 songs.

I always thought that MG2 became too difficult/large-scale too soon. MG1 has this too, a bit, but less than MG2. Note that both games didn't really appeal to me.
