I am a musician and advocate of the use of "obsolete" and "antiquated" technologies. It would be an incredible honor to do the music for a game that would be released in cartridge form. If you can help me by giving me information and perhaps some people to contact to get my foot in the door for this sort of thing, please do. Thank you.

Your biggest shot -apart from Nerlaska's invitation- would be to sniff around potential MSXdev'07 entries, perhaps check out this place, as usually lots of entries are Spanish. Your even bigger shot however would be a simple showcase. If you have freeware tunes, we could always add 'em to our download database. Every download database entry we put in gets a newspost, so it wouldn't go unnoticed. If you're interested in this: send 'm to downloads@msx.org. If it's some unknown format you'd need a player for, include the player if it's freeware, or otherwise give us a link where to leech it. Another option would be to host 'em yourself, we could then add you to our links-section. You choose! |

Also, are there some sort of programs that covernt audio into a format that can be used for such projects? Should the music be made with certain programs?

I'm confused. So far all the "programs" I've found don't seem to be programs at all, but weird file types my computer doesnt know what to do with. Am I missing something here? Or is this just so incredibly complex an amateur shoud give up before starting?
