We've talked earlier about the reasons why you visit or don't visit MSX fairs.

That makes me wonder: what would you like to see on an MSX fair? And except free beers, what things could make you come again?

Let us know!

I am too far to go to any fair , if some was close i would certainly go.( more than 6h by TGV train from nederland, and i dont speak dutch!)
...
Anyway if I ever go, I would enjoy seeing demos on huge screens with good sounds !
And upgrades at retail price !

"News" in general.

Take a plane, air fares are lower nowadays than train tickets are.

Dominic [Xcite] was talking about 'Schop een Comodore' (kick a commodore) a while ago on the MAF.
I have never seen that and I think that would be fun

I was there, it was quite fun indeed.. Although apparently some people were offended, even though (and they probably didn't know that) the C64 was really broken.
When the C64 was pretty much kicked to bits (and bytes) somebody threw in a printer ^^;

I'm not sure what your commodore story does in this topic, but what the heck. We had a buring commodore animation on the old msx.org website. Childish I know.

well, it is just an example of what might be fun to see on a fair, and an impression of it

In one of the MadriSX meetings, some guys bought and destroyed a Sinclair ZX Spectrum (our "enemy" on the golden times, more than 10 years ago here in Spain). People are still talking about that, and it produced a huge impact in the spanish MSX scene, with dozens of people arguing strongly. Perhaps it is not a good idea, as long as all "vintage sceners" should be right now "pals", despite past differences.
Anyway, what about filling a big PC case with TNT or make a lovely barbaque using Microsoft Windows'XX CDs and documentation? It could be really tasty!

Kind regards!

Alright! You bring the TNT (watch out with crossing the border ) and I'll bring some pirated Windows CD's

Seriously though... I like talking to people on fairs. People I talk to on IRC, but also new people or people I haven't talked to before. And ofcourse watching the new developments (either demonstrated or for sale)... It's always good to see people (also a surprising amount of young people) having fun with MSX

Yeah well....Actually, considering the age of the MSX, it is indeed surprising the current MSX fair or meeting visitor still seems to be in his 20s mainly.....Or maybe the system just keeps us all young

Burning Commodore's and Spectrums, is this really what people would like to seen on a fair? I doubt it.
