I visited http://cbios.sourceforge.net/ and then went at the forum and i saw that it is a little outdated and the last link that was the compatibility link was not working and only with the famous http://www.webarchive.org i was able to saw the last available index of it.The address for compatibility with roms is this Cbios compatibility list.
So is the c-bios programming team still working ?Is the project dead? Can we expect some updates or new roms to be posted?
Thank you

http://vampier.net/cbios/ for now (will probably move back to the old URL soon, or at least get a redirect).
Are there still ROMs that are not working for you? For the rest, maybe mth should reply |

There's still some work in progress, but I have to admit that development is a tad slow lately...

I just tested open msx 6.3.1 with c bios msx2 model and metal gear from konami has problems. If i go to elevators sprites and elevator sprite has graphic glitches and when i exit elevator screens the glitches remain forever, sprites are in a way garbled.I tested c-bios msx 2 with bluemsx and the same problem shows up.I think the compatibility page should change for that game since it does not work perfect.
Best regards

Which ROM image did you use exactly? It would be useful if you can use sha1sum.exe to identify it.

Manuel i tried it with 3 versions of the rom.One is the english one that has the following data extracted from sha1sum.exe b656bd19df58fc1ba4628342b87beeec5948e0b3
Second is the japanese rom that has the following checksum 7d685547c2a4b92fa62e00854e4a9689d495f93d
and the third one is a spanish translation of it that has the following checksum aa881a2936f368ab887c296b837a8f7f553a3fb2
All three work fine until someone goes to the elevator of first stage. There the main sprite data is corrupted, and of course if someone exits the elevator all other enemy data is changed and corrupted. And losing and pressing f5 or if someone waits and loses and starts again does not seem to fix it.

The problem here is related to c-bios though.Same roms work fine on bluemsx or open msx when user uses a different system rom (and also work fine on a real msx when someone uses utilities like execrom loadrom etc).So it must be some incompatibility with the c-bios msx2 rom.

I can't reproduce with the current CVS versions of C-BIOS. I guess C-BIOS needs a release... There has been development after the 0.21 release and it seems this particular problem got fixed in that time.
