Does it make practical sence? How many TurboR users did this type of overclock? |

Hehe, my TurboR is still a virgin, but I do plan to put in 4MB internal RAM, extra VRAM, and switch to change speed to this safe overclock mode. The biggest issue is how to make all those changes with minimal or no damage to plastic case and board |

Due to S1990 constraints, the maximum internal RAM for turboR is 1MB.

It'll fit an entire disk, what more could you want? 720kB ought to be enough for everyone |

Is it an easy / cheap upgrade like 512KB in A1WX/A1WSX?

No, the only method I know of is by using a 1MB SIMM.

Read more of that in HNOSTAR #43, July 1999. One can follow it quite well, inspite of the article has been written in Spanish... There's a lot of explanatory photographs |
