ive been wondering if exist an utility that permit to assmble 2 konami roms into one....thats becouse i use a psp msx emulator and this one only permit to use 1 slot...
i would love to use nemesis 2(gradius2) and qbert so i could use the cheats...

I think you misunderstood something here, what's illegal (and so prohibited to talk about) is to give information on how to download roms, or even offer to download some roms. IMHO, we can talk about roms and their content for as long as we want (we're addicted, there's nothing to do about it).

Anyway, if I'm wrong, let the admin/moderator correct me.

as i understood it it is quite legal to have rom files. just you have to own the origional cartridge to do so. you buy data and make a backup of it, no problem there. you can also buy a book and copy it all on paper by writing it down. if thats not allowed then my teachers made me do something illegal... write pages and pages of text from my study books (their favourite punishment...)

Though, to achieve the cartridge combinations with a single rom file you can update the RC code within the rom itself to the rom you want to combinate it with.

The person is just asking how to combine 2 roms in one.I assume that he has the originals and he has made backup copies.He is not discussing about warez.

I believe you have to do what Vincent van Dam says.Look for a hex editor and change that RC code

Ok, it is legal if someone is a developer and posses legal copies of the cartridges. The contend of the electronic media is just a plain binary file with a reader.

Old "classic" Konami titles that weren't registered in Brazil were copied and sold into cartridge cases featuring two "EPROM" chips , there was a menu for choose the game to play.

Since it 'wasn't registered' it wasn't considered a crime to copy and play those Software ...

Just tell him how to combine the 2 roms in one.The person did not request roms or did not post warez links,he just wants help for what he asked.

For example; if you open Nemesis 2 with a hex editor you will find:

    0000010: 4344 0751

Change that to:

    0000010: 4344 0746

...and Nemesis 2 thinks Q'Bert is in slot 2
