To the curious
- 25 topics per page instead of 15 topics per page in each subforum
- Extra google ads @ newsposts. Mind you, as a member you can disable (and enable) google ads in the 'my account' menu
- Poll is now open for people who are not logged in as well. Members-only was on the strict side
- Tightened the counters that registered downloads & weblink hits.
- Improvements for ru.msx.org
- Various optimizations and bugfixes
- Probably some other stuff I forgot about as well
MRC dedicated webserver specs
Intel Pentium III 733 -> Intel Celeron 2400
256MB memory -> 512 MB memory
10GB HDD -> 80 GB HDD

Properly fixed the poll script (non-members can actually vote now ^_^) and did some server-tweaking that caused a little downtime 
fixato: system-load on the previous server was on the high side to say the least, and the current server is a tad cheaper... so 1+1= |

although not properly tested (ghe) the MRC should now finally have properly functioning per-forum newpost indicators. We'll see if/how they work soon enough! |

Edit should only work on reactions you posted yourself with a max-edit time of 30 minutes after posting the initial reaction (as is the case in the forum). It should not show an 'edit' link though, if the reaction has been posted more than 30 minutes ago. Does it? then it's back to the drawing boards for me...
